Train to Gain - A Government Funding Initiative

If your business is to succeed, you need to be competitive, and to do this you need highly trained and skilled individuals.

Research shows that 1.3 million people go to work every day without the skills they require to do their job proficiently. Employers are increasingly investing in staff development and reaping benefits that include improved staff confidence and motivation, higher retention rates and increased productivity.

The Train to Gain funding initiative can support your organisation training costs, to provide more opportunities for you to train your staff.

If you have people in your employment who are aged 25 years or over, who meet the eligiblity criteria and do not already have existing qualifications at *Level 2 or above, you will be entitled to claim funding to provide each person with an NVQ Level 2 relevant to their job role, with 20 hours of free training from our range of short courses.

Our Business Advisors are highly trained and qualified to carry out an indepth training needs analysis in your organisation to ensure that the right qualifications and training are identified to suit your needs.

If you are an employer with training needs, and you would like a no obligation chat with our Business Advisors please feel free to contact us on 0116 255 1086 or email enquiries@letg.co.uk

What happens next :

Once you have contacted us with your interest, a Business Advisor from LETG will visit you in the workplace to discuss your training requirements and speak to anyone else involved if you wish. They will provide you with details of the range of qualifications and training courses available to you, and decide with you on the best delivery methods and style.

An Organisation Training Needs Analysis will be completed to record the outcomes.

Once the learners have been identified they will complete a Learner Eligibility check to ensure they are eligible to join the programme and once this is established they will complete a Learners Training Needs Analysis and a short assessment of their basic skills, which is a mandatory requirement.

Once all the documentation has been completed, and final qualifications and training established, you will be assigned an Assessor who will begin to deliver the NVQ in your workplace and the additional training requirements will be scheduled in during the timescale of the programme.

Your learners will have between 6 and 9 months to complete their programme of training and learning.
